Life Is Not About Time ...
"Life is not about "time." Life is about creating and living experiences that allow you to be, do, have, and give more by creating a life of your choosing and on your terms. That's how we each make the world a better place."
All too often people live by the clock. They manage time. They run out of time. They don't have time. They speak of time as a dominant and controlling factor in their lives. Think about it. How often have you made a decision about something in your life based on the metric of time?
Has time ever done anything for you? Are you a better person because of time? Is it time that has brought you to where you are?
"Time is a measure of scarcity. Experience is a measure of abundance."
You see, time is a human abstraction. It is a means by which humans compartmentalize their lives. Time has become the lord and master of many, and cruel tyrant for some.
For some, time is viewed as something that is running out and over which you have no control. The clock reminds us of our mortality. Time is a measure of scarcity.
The Experience Clock
What if there were a different clock by which we measure our journey of life? What if there were a better way by which to schedule our lives? What if there were a "clock" based on abundance instead of scarcity? How would life be different for you if time were not a dominating factor in your decisions and allocation of your focus and energy?
Consider the word "moment." When you read that word you likely relate it to time. Isn't a moment an incremental experience of life? You might be inclined to say, "Perhaps, but isn't it a moment in time, too?" It depends on how you measure the moments of your life. You can measure those "moments" in time as is the existing paradigm, or you can maybe just maybe measure in experiences instead.
"Time has become the lord and master of many, and a cruel tyrant to some."
Time is a measure of scarcity. Experience is a measure of abundance. It's how you look at the meaning you give to the words.
Designing and creating experiences has a profound purpose: taking control of and owning your life. When you live experiences with intention, magic things happen.
Intentions Are About How You Others
One way to see intentions is as a focus on creating benefit for others that brings value to their lives and also creates an amplified wave of enthusiasm, passion, and inspiration within you.
Where Does Inspiration Come From?
Create and live your experiences with the intention of emotional engagement within you that results in inspired enthusiasm for your purpose and vision: where vision is the picture of who you will become in your journey that makes your purpose powerfully present in the world.
"Ditch the old meaning of "time," and start living on your TIME."
By living with intention, deliberate and purposeful, you create an experience clock that sets your focus on the journey of becoming the greatest version of you and all that that means and brings. The hands or numbers of a clock no longer control your energy and focus. Your focus is now on the journey from where you are to where you desire to be; to where you must be to fulfill your destiny. You remind yourself each day how you are in control of your thoughts, feelings, and therefore your life. You do this with experiences of your choosing.
T.I.M.E.
When you think of "time," think differently. Think this: Thought - Intention - Meaning - Experience = T.I.M.E. = TIME.
Your thoughts create your life. Direct your thoughts with the deliberate of creating experiences that have in the context of your greater purpose and vision. Live those each moment of each day. Said differently: Direct your thoughts with intention and meaning to create experiences that will bring that which you desire to you. T.I.M.E. You control your "time" when you give that word the meaning of T.I.M.E. Think about that.
Life isn't about "time." Life is about creating and living experiences that allow you to be, do, have, and give more by creating a life of your choosing and on your terms. That's how we each make the world a better place.
The Experience Clock is about TIME. Ditch the old meaning of "time," and begin living on your TIME.
